Description We currently have an opportunity for Full Time Help Desk Supervisor. This role is responsible for the provision of administrative support services to management and the Helpdesk/Call centre function by Downer on-site at Head Quarters Joint Operations Command (HQJOC) at Bungendore. HQJOC operates twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. What You’ll Do (key responsibilities) This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Working in a challenging high security environment, often under pressure Dealing with conflicting priorities Must be able to plan, organise and prioritise work in order to meet strict deadlines and provide timely and accurate information to all stakeholders. Provide quality customer service to internal Downer parties Develop good working relationships with all stakeholders Provide administrative support to management, including coordinating all Human Resources activities for HQJOC and also provide input into the HQJOC monthly report. What You’ll Bring (experience required) Ability to hold an appropriate Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory) Exceptional internal and external customer service skills Ability to work in a team environment Experience dealing with the public Knowledge of necessary procedures and processes for operating a Call Centre / Helpdesk Function Solid background and experience in office administration Experience with the ability to utilise and understand software programs such as Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, e-mail, internet and intranet More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
