We’re seeking a delivery‑driven program manager with strong regulatory insight and stakeholder skills to drive outcomes from design through to implementation. Temporary, Clerk Grade 9/10 ($129,464–$142,665), 12‑month opportunity, with potential to extend, based in Martin Place, Sydney. About the Role As the Senior Program Officer, Industrial Relations , you will play a key role in leading the operational delivery of the revitalised Ethical Clothing Trades Extended Responsibility Scheme (ECERS) . This is a high-impact role focused on establishing and embedding the scheme across the NSW textile, clothing and footwear industry, while ensuring its long-term success and sustainability. You will oversee the daily delivery of the program, bringing together compliance, ICT and stakeholder engagement activities to achieve the ECERS objectives. A key focus of the role is contributing to the development and ongoing operation of a digital reporting platform. You will work closely with industry, government and community partners, deliver clear and accessible communications, and monitor performance to drive continuous improvement. You will join our Industrial Relations Inspectorate team in the Industrial Relations Branch within the People and Workforce Group . The branch plays a critical role in supporting fair, ethical and compliant industrial relations outcomes across NSW, working collaboratively with industry, regulators and the community to uphold standards and deliver government priorities. We're Looking For Program and Project Management: Demonstrated experience delivering complex programs or projects end-to-end, including planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation in a regulatory or policy environment. Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders, gain trust, and work collaboratively to achieve shared outcomes. Regulatory and Legislative Understanding: Experience interpreting, applying and communicating legislative frameworks and regulatory requirements in a clear and accessible way. Communication and Influence: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information for different audiences and manage sensitive or competing viewpoints. Digital and Systems Capability: Experience working with digital platforms or CRM systems, and an understanding of privacy, information security and data governance requirements.
