We are seeking a Product Developer to support the creation of a strong, competitive formulated product assortment that drives brand evolution, sales and profit. Reporting to the Formulated Product Manager, you will play a key role in delivering innovative, safe and commercially successful products from concept through to launch. Working collaboratively with Planning, Marketing, VM, Production and offshore suppliers, you will help manage the end-to-end development process - ensuring quality, compliance, value and on-time delivery across all ranges. This is a dynamic, hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about bringing fun, functional and responsible products to life. ABOUT THE ROLE: Support end-to-end development of formulated products including renovations and innovation projects Assist with sourcing ingredients, packaging components and OEM suppliers Conduct product ranging, SWOT analysis and product placement recommendations Manage product testing, specifications, quality standards and regulatory compliance Coordinate artwork development, including INCI, warnings, instructions and packaging information Support cost negotiation and margin achievement across product ranges Maintain and monitor critical paths to ensure on-time delivery of product launches Build strong supplier relationships and support onboarding of new manufacturers Contribute to sustainability initiatives through innovative packaging and product solutions Provide product knowledge to Marketing, VM and Retail teams including training and range briefings Analyse trade performance and support range optimisation decisions Support local and international wholesale expansion requirements Gather customer and store feedback to inform product improvements and innovation On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Minimum 2-4 years' experience in product development or a similar role, ideally within beauty, personal care or formulated products A tertiary qualification or equivalent in business, marketing, product development or related discipline (preferred) Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities High attention to detail with strong analytical and numerical capability Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience working with offshore suppliers and manufacturers Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and critical path processes Highly organised, proactive and solutions focused Proficient across Microsoft Office Suite ALL KINDS OF AWESOMENESS FOR OUR TEAM: Up to 40% off the Allkinds product range Generous discounts across all Brandbank Group brands, including Seed Heritage, Unison, Commonry & kikki.K.
