Support a student‑centred Safety in Practice service Maintain accurate compliance data and reporting Full time, ongoing role based in Launceston About the opportunity The Administration Officer Safety in Practice (SiP), will deliver a wide range of administrative and support service functions, and contribute to a student-focused Safety in Practice service. The role will include administrative support to the Manager Safety in Practice and Senior Immunisation Advisors; receiving and triaging student enquiries for management by the appropriate SiP team member; coordination of the SiP professional experience placement compliance program for the Health; data entry in the University’s Placement Management System ‘InPlace’; and providing advice and guidance to students to ensure that they meet University, industry partner, jurisdictional and professional accreditation body compliance requirements. What you’ll do: Work with the Safety in Practice team, to ensure the smooth operation of the Professional Experience Placement compliance process for students, staff, and industry partners. Use and access professional experience placement management systems within and external to the University, in accordance with UTAS Health guidelines. Coordinate compliance requirements for students as they relate to safety in practice, to ensure they meet compliance requirements. Follow the timeline of compliance activities within individual disciplines and provide regular reports. Utilise the University’s student management systems to obtain student enrolment records, and access data within the system to ensure efficiency of student placement processes. What we’re looking for: Completion of a relevant Diploma level qualification, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Proven administrative and organisational skills including the ability to priorities tasks, process high volume tasks and deliver outcomes to strict deadlines. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and harmoniously in a team environment. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication and client service skills. Digital literacy skills including extensive experience in the use of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams. Current Working with Vulnerable People check (WWVP) or willingness to obtain. Salary details Appointment to this role will be at HEO 4 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $91,488 comprising base salary within the range of $73,814 to $78,195 plus 17% superannuation.
