An experienced Marketing Manager, or a capable Assistant Marketing Manager ready to step up, ideally with experience in retail or shopping centre environments. Strong stakeholder and contractor management skills. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused, proactive, and detail-oriented. Confident managing multiple priorities and working both autonomously and as part of a team. Strong budgeting and financial management skills. Advanced in Microsoft packages – particularly Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams. Professional presentation and conduct. The role Take ownership of a hands on marketing role across a three centre retail portfolio in Perth’s southern and eastern suburbs, including two larger community focused centres and one smaller neighbourhood centre. This role is perfect for someone who loves being visible on the floor, engaging retailers, planning and executing events, and bringing local communities together. You’ll deliver locally relevant activations that drive visitation, enhance customer experience and strengthen community partnerships. With a weekly rhythm split across multiple sites, you’ll build strong retailer relationships, manage promotional budgets, and take the lead on centre led events and community initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver end to end marketing and community initiatives across a diverse three centre WA portfolio, driving sales, visitation and meaningful community connection through localised activations. Champion retailer engagement, building strong day to day relationships, supporting local sales growth initiatives and ensuring marketing activity aligns with retailer needs and trading outcomes. Maintain high presentation and customer experience standards, ensuring all touchpoints from signage to activations are brand aligned and elevate the overall in centre experience. Coordinate digital activity with the support of the central digital team, including content approvals, social media updates, and performance monitoring, ensuring digital channels complement strong on the ground activity. Develop strong partnerships with local community groups and service providers, nurturing collaborative programs and enhancing each centre’s role within its local community. Manage promotional budgets responsibly, tracking spend, raising POs, reporting on campaign performance and ensuring initiatives are delivered within approved parameters. Ensure compliance and risk management obligations are met, including supporting crisis communications, incident response, and maintaining accurate marketing records. Contribute positively to centre culture, working closely with multiple Centre Managers, sharing insights, supporting cross functional priorities, and remaining agile to assist with operational needs when required.
