The Project The consortium of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has been selected to build South Australia's biggest-ever road infrastructure project. In partnership with the South Australian Government, this consortium forms the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance. The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, will deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway, and contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide. The T2D Project involves constructing two separate tunnels – the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km, open to traffic in 2031. The T2D project comprises the tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction in addition to services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure. The Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior People Advisor on a 6 to 9 month contract to support the Human Resources function for the T2D Project. This role plays a pivotal part in managing international mobility programs, employee relations, and performance frameworks, while ensuring all people management activities including onboarding, training and development, remuneration, cultural diversity, and compliance are delivered to a high standard and in line with legislative requirements and project policies. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and project teams to lead international assignments and mobility arrangements, complex employee relations matters, support workforce performance and capability. Through strong advisory support and practical HR solutions, you will contribute to achieving project objectives while fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture. Responsibilities Manage international mobility, including relocations, visa requirements, and associated HR support. Provide recommendations to enhance performance management processes and remuneration frameworks. Lead cultural diversity initiatives to promote an inclusive workplace. Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and best practice. Identify and support training and development needs, including program development and facilitation. Monitor HR compliance, identifying opportunities for improvement or change initiatives. Supervise and mentor the HR Advisor and Coordinator, building team capability. Provide data, reports, and insights to support continuous improvement in HR practices. Lead HR project initiatives, facilitating meetings and preparing presentations for stakeholders. About You Knowledge and experience in international mobility and expatriate HR processes. Post-secondary training or TAFE certificate in HR, IR/ER, Education, Psychology, or Business (degree preferred). Strong knowledge of employment legislation, regulatory frameworks, and HR best practices. Proven experience in HR project work, delivering initiatives and leading outcomes. Experience managing a small HR team. Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic project environment while maintaining compliance and high-quality outcomes.
