Central Highlands Regional Council is currently recruiting for a Technical Officer to join the Infrastructure team. This exciting opportunity provides support on a diverse and interesting range of project and operational works aligned with road maintenance and construction within the region. In this position, your expertise will be utilised by supporting to the engineering team, completing road maintenance inspections, collating and analysing data and presenting information to stakeholders. This role also completes procurement activities and is required to build and maintain effective relationships with contractors involved in project delivery. To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess: Experience in a similar role – with knowledge & experience in the maintenance and specifications of construction, and maintenance of infrastructure Minimum of Queensland C class provisional drivers licence. General Construction Induction Card (White Card) or ability to obtain prior to commencement.
