An outstanding opportunity is available for a confident, hands-on Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join one of Western Australia's leading private hospitality operations, renowned for delivering premium dining, weddings, corporate events, and large-scale member functions. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment and has a strong background in functions and events delivery , alongside day-to-day restaurant and bar operations. The Opportunity Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations while taking ownership of coordinating and executing a busy calendar of weddings, corporate, and member events. You will work closely with senior leadership, the Functions team, and the kitchen brigade to ensure seamless service, exceptional presentation, and memorable guest experiences. Key Responsibilities Support and lead front of house operations across the restaurant, bar, and functions Coordinate and supervise weddings, corporate events, and member functions Build, manage, and adjust staff rosters to ensure coverage, cost control, and service standards Lead from the floor during service and events with confident, hands-on supervision Oversee event setups, staffing plans, and on-the-day execution Train, coach, and brief staff to deliver consistent and polished service Drive service standards, sequence of service, and product knowledge Oversee opening and closing procedures, venue readiness, and room resets Assist with stock control and ordering Foster a positive, accountable team culture with strong engagement and development focus Skills & Experience Proven experience in a Food & Beverage leadership role Strong background in functions and events operations Confident trainer and floor leader during peak service periods Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities Wine knowledge highly regarded Coffee capable with solid understanding of bar flow and service execution Calm, solutions-focused communicator with strong guest and member focus Available for rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and major event days Current WA Approved Manager Card and RSA Full Australian working rights - Sponsorship is not available What's On Offer Full-time, permanent position Competitive salary package Professional, supportive, and well-structured environment Long-term career development opportunities Opportunity to contribute to premium hospitality and high-end event experiences If you are a passionate hospitality leader who enjoys delivering exceptional service and executing high-quality events, we would love to hear from you.
