About You Cromwell Property Group is seeking a motivated and committed Senior Tax Accountant to join Cromwell’s Tax Team in support of our tax compliance and tax advisory goals in Brisbane CBD. You will have a keen interest in trust taxation and have a good base knowledge and skills in Australian income tax law and will be well supported in preparing Cromwell’s Trust tax obligations including income tax and GST. About the Role Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, this permanent full-time role will support in delivering tax compliance and tax advisory services including preparing trust tax distribution calculations and income tax returns for Cromwell’s listed and unlisted trusts (“Cromwell’s Trusts”) and corporate entities. The Senior Tax Manager and broader Tax Team will support your growth and development of your career as a tax professional. Accurate and effective management of tax risk is essential to the successful operation of our business. Our Tax Team plays an essential role in ensuring that we meet Cromwell’s tax compliance obligations and the group’s commercial objectives. Critical to the success in this role will be attention to detail, analytical mindset, and resourcefulness. You will also bring Tertiary degree in Accounting or Finance. Have or be studying towards CA or CPA qualification. More than 2 years’ experience in a chartered or large commercial environment Interest in financial services industry. Experience in applying tax concepts including preparing income tax returns, GST returns and compliance. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
