About The Role Join DBG Health as a Procurement Specialist on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract within our beauty business , where you will lead procurement for a defined product category and play a key role in New Product Development . In this role, you will own the end-to-end procurement strategy for your category, partnering closely with Product Development, Marketing and Supply teams to bring innovative beauty products to market. You will be responsible for sourcing and selecting the right suppliers, negotiating commercial and legal terms, managing cost and margin outcomes, and ensuring high-quality products are delivered at the best value. From supplier selection and price ownership to securing favourable commercial agreements, you will drive procurement decisions that directly support the success and growth of our beauty portfolio. Role & Responsibilities Develop and execute category sourcing strategies aligned to business and brand needs, including NPD and cross-functional roadmaps. Lead NPD projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery to cost, quality, and launch timelines. Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, driving the best total cost of ownership across commercial and supply chain parameters. Own supplier performance management, building strong relationships, and driving continuous improvement. Accountable for COGS, identifying value alternatives and cost optimisation opportunities across the portfolio. Manage risk, governance, and compliance, ensuring due diligence, accurate data, and proactive risk mitigation. Skills & Experience 3-5 years of proven experience in a similar role. Beauty and/or Cosmetics industry experience is required to be successful in this role. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present, influence, and work cross-functionally in fast-paced environments. End-to-end product development experience , from concept to launch, with solid understanding of quality standards, regulatory requirements, and stage-gate processes. Procurement / Category Management background , including supplier evaluation, performance management, and the ability to clearly articulate a structured buying process. Highly self-directed and outcomes-focused, able to operate effectively without formal structures and drive work to completion . Advanced data capability, with strong Excel skills , experience evaluating commercial data, and exposure to ERPs (e.g. NetSuite ) and tools such as Monday.com.
