We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Supervisor to support the Store Manager and oversee the daily operations of our retail store. Position Overview The Retail Supervisor will assist the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the store. This role involves supervising retail staff, ensuring high standards of customer service, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring compliance with company policies and workplace safety standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare staff rosters and allocate daily tasks to ensure efficient store operations and adequate staffing levels. Monitor stock levels, coordinate ordering and replenishment of products, and ensure displays are well organised and fully stocked. Assist customers with purchases, provide product information, and ensure a high level of customer service. Address customer enquiries and complaints professionally and promptly. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of retail staff. Maintain store cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with workplace health and safety requirements. Assist with store opening and closing procedures. Reconcile daily sales including cash, EFTPOS, and credit transactions and assist with banking procedures. Qualifications and Skills A relevant qualification at Diploma level or higher, or at least three years of relevant work experience. Strong leadership and team management skills. Experience using POS systems and basic Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage customer complaints and train staff effectively. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced retail environment. Salary The role offers a remuneration package of $75,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation, based on a 38-hour working week.
