They support a diverse client base through a range of delivery formats including in-clinic consultations, telehealth appointments, and home visits. Services are provided under Medicare, private health insurers, NDIS plans, and care plan arrangements. About the opportunity Due to rapid business growth, we are seeking a highly organised and customer focused Medical Administrator/ Receptionist to join a team of 3 experienced administrators and provide support to approximately 12 clinicians. This role will be part-time covering 44 hours per fortnight. The shifts will be as follows: Monday: 7:00am – 1:00pm Wednesday: 7:00am – 1:00pm Friday: 12:00pm – 7:00pm Saturday: 7:00am – 1:00pm (every second week) Flexibility will be required to assist during busy periods or to provide leave cover. You will be joining a mature and experienced administrative team who work closely together to support clinicians and patients. Key responsibilities include Manage front desk reception, respond to phone and email enquiries, and support patients and clinicians Schedule and coordinate appointments using Best Practice for clinic, telehealth, and home visits Process billing and invoicing across Medicare, NDIS, insurers, care plans, and private payments Complete daily batch payments, banking deposits, and reconciliations Maintain accurate patient records including registrations, referrals, forms, treatment notes, and consent documentation Ensure compliance with NDIS documentation requirements and maintain secure records Assist with maintaining and updating policies, procedures, and the practice manual About you Previous experience in medical or healthcare administration will be highly regarded, although training in the healthcare industry can be provided. You must possess strong administrative experience in a structured, process-driven environment and have the ability to work with established procedures.
