The Opportunity: As a Production Operator , you’ll play a key role in our daily operations. You’ll support the Production & Planning Manager with manufacturing processes across assembly, machine operation, quality checks, and materials handling — keeping production running smoothly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. What you will be doing Production & Machine Operation: Operate and monitor process equipment and retail packing machinery Perform assembly tasks with precision Maintain steady production output to meet daily targets Pick, pack and stack cartons (6–15kg) safely and accurately Shrink-wrap and organise pallets using RFID scanners Keep workstations stocked and materials moving efficiently Assist with basic machine setups, adjustments, and troubleshooting Report equipment faults or maintenance needs promptly Quality Assurance: Conduct visual and physical quality checks Accurately document deviations and non-conformances Complete production data and quality records Safety & Workplace Standards: Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements Maintain a clean, organised, hazard-free work area Participate in safety briefings, risk assessments, and incident reporting Teamwork & Communication: Work collaboratively to achieve daily production goals Escalate delays, issues, or quality concerns promptly Contribute to a positive, supportive, safety-first team culture What You Bring Experience & Skills: Experience in production or food manufacturing Strong attention to detail and ability to follow set procedures Mechanical aptitude for basic machine issue identification Confidence using digital systems, RF scanners, or production technology Physical Requirements: Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks Comfortable lifting up to 15kg Fit for a fast-paced, active working environment Flexible for different shift patterns as required Personal Qualities: Reliable and punctual Strong work ethic with safety and quality front of mind Able to work independently and within a team Licences: Forklift Licence (required) Ready to Join Us?
