We are seeking motivated fundraising professionals to join the Centennial Parklands Foundation in two exciting roles – Fundraising & Communications Officer and Campaign Fundraising Officer – supporting donor engagement, fundraising campaigns and philanthropic initiatives that help deliver meaningful outcomes for one of Sydney’s most iconic parklands. Role 1: Fundraising & Communications Officer (Part-Time Contract) Centennial Parklands, Sydney (Hybrid) $60 – $65 per hour super 21 hours per week | 7 hours per day (set days Tues, Weds & Thurs) Contract until November 2026 About the Organisation Centennial Parklands Foundation is an independent charity working to support and enhance one of Sydney’s most iconic natural spaces. Based within the Greater Sydney Parklands agency , the Foundation works closely with marketing, media and events teams to raise funds that support environmental, community and education initiatives. The Foundation is a small but ambitious team , currently preparing for significant growth in its philanthropic activities and fundraising programs. About the Role We are seeking a Fundraising & Communications Officer to support donor engagement, communications and fundraising initiatives for the Foundation. This role will focus on strengthening relationships with supporters, delivering digital fundraising campaigns and producing high-quality communications that highlight the impact of the Foundation’s work. Working closely with the Manager of Philanthropy and the wider community engagement and partnerships team, you will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, take ownership of projects and help raise the profile of the Foundation. Key Responsibilities Manage relationships with existing and prospective donors through tailored engagement strategies Plan and deliver fundraising appeals including the Annual Giving Program and End of Financial Year (EOFY) appeal Organise donor and supporter events to strengthen engagement and retention Create high-quality communications including eDMs, newsletters, website content, social media and impact reports Support marketing initiatives to increase awareness of the Foundation and its programs Assist with the promotion and stewardship of the Bequests Program Support grant applications and reporting processes Maintain accurate donor records and administrative systems to ensure governance requirements are met About You You are a highly organised communicator who enjoys building relationships and managing multiple projects. You will bring: Experience in fundraising, donor engagement or communications within a not-for-profit organisation Strong written communication and marketing skills Experience delivering digital communications campaigns or donor engagement initiatives Proficiency using digital platforms such as websites, email marketing and social media Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Role 2: Campaign Fundraising Officer (Part-Time Contract) Centennial Parklands, Sydney $60 per hour super 21 hours per week | 7 hours per day (set days Tues, Weds & Thurs) 12-month contract (with potential extension) About the Organisation Centennial Parklands Foundation is a small but ambitious charity dedicated to supporting the future of Sydney’s Centennial Parklands. The Foundation is currently undertaking a major fundraising campaign to establish a Centre for Excellence in Nature Discovery at Centennial Park. This role will play a key part in supporting that campaign by working closely with philanthropic donors, board members and foundations. About the Role The Campaign Fundraising Officer will focus on supporting the Foundation’s major capital fundraising campaign by helping cultivate relationships with major donors, trusts and philanthropic supporters. This role will work closely with the Foundation’s leadership and board members to coordinate donor engagement activities, develop proposals and support stewardship initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support major donor cultivation and stewardship activities Develop tailored proposals, briefing documents and impact reports for philanthropic supporters Coordinate donor communications and engagement activities Plan and deliver donor cultivation and stewardship events Identify and research prospective donors, trusts and foundations Prepare grant applications and acquittal reports Maintain accurate campaign data and administrative systems to support fundraising decisions About You You will be a proactive and confident professional with experience supporting fundraising programs and engaging stakeholders. You will bring: Previous experience in major gifts fundraising or philanthropic campaigns Experience coordinating events, donor engagement or marketing activities Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities Confidence working autonomously in a small but dynamic team Work Environment The Foundation team is a small and highly collaborative group , currently consisting of the Head of Fundraising & Development, Manager of Philanthropy and a Donor Services Officer. You will be based at the Centennial Parklands office , working closely with the wider Greater Sydney Parklands community engagement, media and marketing teams . Why Apply?
