We are partnering with a progressive local council to appoint a Transformation Project Coordinator partnering closely with the Transformation Program Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a broad, enterprise-wide transformation agenda focused on customer experience, service redesign, cultural change and operational improvement. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating and enabling multiple strategic initiatives that directly impact community outcomes. About the Role As Transformation Project Coordinator, you will provide end-to-end coordination and delivery support across a portfolio of transformation initiatives. You will help ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and aligned to Council’s strategic priorities. Please note: This is a 2-year fixed-term contract, starting in April. It is based in the western-suburbs of Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements. You will act as a key contributor to: Full project lifecycle coordination – planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation Program reporting, dashboards and executive-level updates Budget tracking, forecasting and financial governance Stakeholder engagement across Council directorates and external partners Risk identification, mitigation and issue escalation Contract and supplier performance monitoring Transformation performance measurement and benefits tracking About You Experienced project professional with exposure to enterprise PMO or transformation environments. This role is perfect for someone who loves structure, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and enjoys working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll also be comfortable guiding and coaching project delivery teams on best-practice processes and tools, helping to build capability and confidence across the organisation.
