Working closely with the management team, this role will help translate planning and strategy into practical implementation across production facilities You will support projects including capital works, equipment installation, production process improvements, facility upgrades and establishing new production capabilities to support project delivery. This is not a purely design-focused engineering position. Instead, it suits someone who enjoys working between engineering, production and project coordination, solving real operational challenges in a manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the execution of internal capital works and operational improvement projects Assisting with establishing and optimising production capabilities across sites Coordinating project timelines, documentation and stakeholder communication Supporting mechanical design, layouts and equipment integration using CAD tools Driving lean process improvements and workflow optimisation within production Providing hands-on engineering and technical support to operations and management About the Company Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer supporting major construction and infrastructure projects across Australia. About You We are looking for a practical, solutions-focused engineer who enjoys seeing projects through from concept to implementation. You will likely bring: Experience supporting project delivery within manufacturing, construction or industrial environments A mechanical engineering background with practical understanding of equipment and production systems CAD capability (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks or similar) Exposure to project management principles and capital project delivery Experience with lean manufacturing, process improvement or workflow optimisation Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple project activities simultaneously This role could suit: A Project Engineer wanting to move closer to operations , or A Mechanical / Process Engineer with strong implementation experience, or A Production / Industrial Engineer with project delivery capability.
