About the role Museums Bathurst is seeking casual front of house staff to work across four museums: Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum, Bathurst Rail Museum, National Motor Racing Museum and Chifley Home and Education Centre. Position Summary The Casual Front of House Museum Assistant position will have the ability to work across multiple museums and provide high quality customer service and assist in the day to day running of the museum under the supervision of the Museum Coordinator. Retail experience, including shop presentation skills, and stocktaking. Cash handling skills, including preparation of float and reconciliations. Proven ability to interact with individuals in a courteous, amiable, and informative way. Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and undertake tasks unsupervised. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting, contributing positively to the work environment. Proficiency in the operation of various computer packages and ability to learn new systems Available to work weekends and school holiday periods.
