This contract position provides competitive hourly rate that matches or exceeds current market rates. Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist. The therapist will assess and provide tailored intervention plans for children, addressing goal areas as identified with the family. The role includes collaborating with parents, offering neuroaffirming guidance to caregivers, and maintaining thorough documentation of client progress. Providing supports across NDIS, Medicare and Private Health. Therapist has autonomy of hours worked, and caseload. We service families in the inner north, inner north east of Melbourne, Victoria. Qualifications & Experiences Experience working with children and families Experience working with the NDIS (preferred but not essential) Strong understanding of neuroaffirming practices and child development principles. Effective and strong communication skills to provide guidance to parents and caregivers in a supportive and empathetic manner. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, including maintaining thorough documentation and managing own schedule. Full AHAPRA registration ABN Vehicle License Working with Children's Check Experience in teletherapy or delivering virtual services is preferred.
