Occupational Therapist & New Graduate Roles Play-Obsessed & Neuroaffirming Join the Village. Grow Your Career. Stay Playful. At Little Village Therapy , we believe development doesn’t start at a milestone—it starts from day one. We are a neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, sensory-trained team walking alongside families through the messy, magical, snack-filled world of childhood. We’ve built a brand-new, light-filled clinic in the heart of the Sutherland Shire designed for connection, and we’re looking for OTs (both experienced and New Grads) who are ready to make a real difference—one co-regulation moment at a time. Why You’ll Love the Village Life We aren't your typical clinical grind. We are OT-owned and OT-led, which means we actually "get it"—the NDIS juggle, the report writing, and the need for a coffee break. ð± Start Strong: A structured Graduate Program with intensive mentoring and supervision. ð Real Balance: Choose your rhythm with flexible hours, 9-day fortnights , and a sustainable 45-minute session structure that leaves actual room for admin. ð¨ Shape Your Path: Don't get stuck in a box. Customize your caseload around your specific passions and clinical strengths. ð§ Deep Support: Weekly/fortnightly internal supervision, external mentoring, and a generous individual PD budget. ð Culture That Clicks: Daily huddles to swap resources, brainstorm tricky cases, and celebrate the small wins with a quirky, supportive team. ð The Location: Work where you play—close to the beaches, cafes, and leafy walks of the Shire. The Role You won't be siloed. You’ll be part of a crew of OTs, AHAs, and admin legends working across clinic, school, and home environments. Deliver neuroaffirming therapy sessions, groups, and parent workshops. Collaborate with families and educators to set goals that actually matter to the child. Innovate: Contribute to new programs or community resources within your first 6 months. Maintain your own wellbeing—we value quality of care over hitting impossible KPIs. Perks That Actually Count PD Allowance 2 Extra PD Days: Dedicated time off for your own professional interests. 4 Team PD Days Per Year: We close the clinic to learn, reflect, and grow together. Manageable Caseload: Aiming for ~25 client hours per week (Full-Time) to prevent burnout. The Tools You Need: A beautiful, resource-rich workspace designed for sensory integration. What You’ll Bring We hire for heart and mindset first. We can teach the clinical skills; we can’t teach the "spark." Curiosity & Creativity: A genuine love for the "play" in Paediatric OT. Growth Mindset: Confidence (or a hunger to learn) in sensory integration and regulation frameworks. Collaboration: A desire to work with families, not just for them. The Essentials: Degree in Occupational Therapy & AHPRA Registration. Current WWCC, Driver’s Licence, and a reliable car. Ready to join the Village? Whether you’re a fresh New Grad or an experienced OT ready for a more soulful workplace, we’d love to meet you.
