Senior Business Analyst (TSPV/TS) – Canberra (Onsite Only) We’re seeking an experienced Business Analyst (SFIA BUSA Level 4–5) to support the methodical investigation, analysis, and documentation of business needs, processes, and system improvements. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, system architects, and delivery teams to define requirements, develop viable specifications and acceptance criteria, and help shape high-quality product outcomes within a fast-paced delivery environment. Location: Canberra (Onsite Only – No WFH) Security Clearance Requirement: Due to the nature of this environment,m ust hold a current TSPV/TS-Positive Vetting clearance to perform this role. This position is open to Australian citizens with a valid security clearance due to role requirements. Essential Tasks: Investigate and analyse complex business situations with ambiguity and competing priorities Elicit, validate, and document business requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria Conduct root cause analysis and develop clear recommendations for process/system improvement Collaborate with stakeholders across delivery teams using plan-driven and agile approaches Key Criteria: Minimum 3 years (SFIA Level 4) / 5 years (SFIA Level 5) Business Analyst experience Strong capability in Business Situation Analysis (BUSA) and requirements definition Proven stakeholder engagement skills, including influencing and gaining agreement Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (IIBA certifications desirable: ECBA/CCBA/CBAP) Contract Duration: 12 months with 2 x 12-month extension options.
