You’ll support children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development through play-based and child-led learning, building strong, consistent relationships with children and families as part of our dedicated team.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Collaborate with Room Leaders to implement an innovative, inquiry-driven curriculum. • Observe and document children’s development to support personalised learning. • Create safe, engaging indoor and outdoor environments that promote exploration. • Build strong, respectful relationships with families and involve them in their child’s learning journey. • Work as part of a reflective, inclusive team culture. • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute fresh ideas.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: • Strong understanding of child-led and inquiry-based learning methodologies, with a genuine commitment to the Reggio Emilia philosophy and best practice in early childhood education. • Proven experience in early childhood settings, with a passion for supporting young children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development through creative and engaging teaching approaches. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues, children, families, and the wider community. • Highly organised and adaptable, demonstrating strong time management, attention to detail, resilience, and openness to continuous professional development. • A patient, empathetic, and nurturing team player who contributes positively to planning, fosters an inclusive environment, and responds flexibly to change and new challenges. QUALIFICATIONS • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be actively working towards it). • ACECQA-approved qualifications. • A valid Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain one). • Strong understanding of inquiry-based and child-led learning.
