Essential: Tertiary qualifications in Geospatial or Engineering discipline and or relevant industry experience Demonstrated experience in data capture and manipulation, analysing complex spatial data and producing high quality mapping products Proven technical skills in cartographic production/digital mapping as well as database querying, integration, and GIS Scripting Operational knowledge and demonstrable experience working with GIS and desktop mapping systems and the ability to apply this knowledge and experience to support organisational priorities Investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop new approaches to resolve complex problems and the proven ability to exercise initiative, flexibility, and creativity to address complex operational challenges Sound project management skills with proven ability to work closely with other disciplines and roles as part of an agile, cross-functional team to deliver results Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding support environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results with a customer focused approach Desirable: Experience in maintaining GIS systems in a Local Government setting Experience in Novoplan, a contribution planning application Industry certifications or training in Data Analysis, Data Visualisations or Programming Knowledge of or experience in working with Open datasets and Open data frameworks Knowledge and practical experience in working with Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) or Design software used for 3D modelling and visualisations Further Information : Angie Juvanshu- Team Leader Spatial Information Services Closing Date for above position : 9 March 2026 Position Description: For full position description details click here Apply now Share Save Job
