Casual opportunity Based in Catholic Primary Schools throughout the Sydney Diocese (need in South and Southwest Sydney area) Hybrid working arrangement About the Role The Family Life Educator (FLE) is to facilitate the Growing Towards Wholeness puberty program to Years 4-6 students and/or their parents and carers. You will assist parents and carers in understanding the content of the student presentation and to support them with the conversations they will continue at home with their child. This is done either face-to-face or online, depending on the requirements and needs of each school. Some of your responsibilities will be to: Maintain professional currency and familiarity with related literature and practices in relation to the facilitation of Family Life Education Attend and participate in individual and group supervision as scheduled Comply with all agencies and program policies and procedures including all documentation and administrative tasks required by the program Operate as a solo worker in ‘outreach’ settings We predominantly service Catholic Schools within the Archdiocese of Sydney, as well as some from neighbouring diocese.
