With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hourâs drive from the CBD (still within the bounds of Myki and ride-sharing), Melbourneâs North is fast becoming the place to be.   Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Occupational Therapists to join our acute inpatient team.  Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourneâs rapidly growing outer north.  Services are provided through our six main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.  About the Role: An opportunity exists for a Grade 3 Occupational Therapist to join our team at Northern Health. Based at The Northern Hospital Epping, this role provides high-level clinical services to a variety of acute inpatient cohorts, including a predominantly general medical caseload.  You will work collaboratively with the wider multi-disciplinary team to facilitate dynamic discharge plans that are patient centred and support access and flow throughout the health service.  The OT department at Northern Health prides itself on being inclusive, supportive and committed to evidence-based practice. We are a team of OT's who are driven by positive patient outcomes and team work. The role will work closely with the wider OT department to drive service development and ensure a focus on innovations.  This position is ongoing part time - 48 hours per fortnight.  To be successful in this role you will have: Demonstrated clinical experience at a senior level, within an inpatient setting Proven ability to work autonomously and excel within a multidisciplinary team Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills A commitment to lifelong learning Thrive working in a fast-paced environment  Next Steps . . .
