Are you an experienced Open Pit Mining Supervisor ready to lead 10-12 person to deliver outstanding open pit load and haul services to our clients? Big Yellow Mining is on the lookout for skilled and versatile Production Supervisors to contribute to new projects kicking off in March & April across WA. We are seeking experienced Production Mining Supervisors to lead our open pit crews of 10-12 operators in safe and productive load and haul activities, safely and efficiently maintaining production. We operate Modern Fleets of 100-200 ton CAT/Komatsu equipment across our projects. What We’re Looking For: Experience in leading a 1-2 dig unit operations A practical, hands on approach in the field Proven experience leading teams in open pit mining activities A calm approach to leadership of people and fostering of teamwork A commitment to safety - identifying and rectifying hazards, minimizing risk and returning the team home safely at the end of the shift Day to day use and Troubleshooting experience in GPS systems an advantage A desire to upskill crew members and engage in their personal development Site Requirements: Able to pass Pre Employment Medical & Drug Testing Current WA Drivers License S26 Qualifications Police Clearance for gold site access Full time employment is offered working a 2&1 FIFO roster, with full camp facilities on offer.
