We are seeking an experienced RN / Clinical Nurse Manager providing leadership oversight, and support to nursing staff, ensuring high standards of resident care, compliance with regulatory requirements located in Tasmania Relaxed coastal lifestyle with minimal commute times Affordable housing compared to mainland cities Close-knit community and supportive local workforce Easy access to beaches, walking tracks, and Tasmania’s iconic natural attractions Direct air and ferry access to mainland Australia The role: T he C linical RN is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high quality and compliant clinical care in accordance with the Strengthened Aged Care Standards, Quality of Care, principles, the New Aged Care Ace and all other relevant legislation and organizational policies Key Responsibilities Provide clinical governance, leadership, and performance management of nursing staff; oversee high-quality resident care; Ensure compliance with the new Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, Aged Care Act, and relevant clinical guidelines Coordinate comprehensive care planning, admissions, GP liaison, care conferences, documentation, incident reporting (including SIRS) Maintain effective communication with the DON, GPs, ACQSC, families, and external providers, coordinate referrals and onsite clinics Liaise with Quality Educator to identify staff learning needs.
