Reporting to the Coordinator Audit and Risk, and working within a close-knit team of five, you’ll play a vital role in strengthening Council’s culture of transparency and accountability. The FOI and Integrity Officer will: Coordinate and administer the FOI responsibilities of Council Act as the organisation’s PID Coordinator, responsible for receiving, reporting and investigating complaints relating to fraud and corruption. Maintain the Fraud and Corruption Control policy, framework, training and identification workshops in accordance with AS8001: 2021 Conducting investigations into claims, complaints, or allegations of misconduct, providing advice and comprehensive reports Identify and report on changes to the external statutory, commercial and regulatory environment that are significant to Council’s integrity landscape Skills & Experience Experience managing Freedom of Information and Public Interest Disclosures, along with fraud prevention, detection and investigation activities Relevant qualifications in fields such as investigations, business or commerce highly regarded Culture As a progressive leader in Local Government, Darebin City Council is passionate about social inclusion, sustainability, engagement and service excellence.
