Join us as a Senior SAP Technical Analyst (internally known as a Senior ERP/EAM Technical Analyst) and amplify your impact. Your opportunity: As our Senior SAP Technical Analyst, your extensive SAP experience is key to Energy Queensland’s continued success and growth. You provide a high level of technical and analytical assistance to identify opportunities and solutions to systems within the ERP/EAM technical platform. Your core focus is on SAP-related technology and solutions. Day to day, you: Manage and perform software development lifecycle in SAP. Provide highly technical advice for SAP technology and application systems within the ERP/EAM platform, including continuous improvement initiatives, operational support and ongoing maintenance. Lead and influence compliant designs for ERP and EAM systems across EQL’s SAP technology. Support system changes and upgrades and participate in investigations before implementing solutions. Communicate with customers and stakeholders on the provision of services, and provide updates on any relevant incidents, problems, or updates. Your remuneration starts from $158k per annum 14.75% super for a 9-day fortnight, and from $179k per annum 14.75% super for a 10-day fortnight. What you’ll bring: You either hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent competence and industry experience . You’re also a SAP Certified ABAP Developer or hold relevant certifications in Programming in SAP S/4 HANA . As for your technical knowledge and experience, you have: Extensive SME knowledge and experience in ERP/EAM SAP solutions. This includes: ABAP and extensions. ability to customise SAP standard functionalities through user exits, BADI, and implicit/explicit enhancement techniques. SAP Functional areas like OpenText xECM, and SAP Saas Solutions. Tools like Web Dynpro, SAPU15, OData, and SAP Solution Manager. SAP best practices such as clean core SAP BTP and ABAP for Cloud. ERP/EAM application security and how it’s implemented. Major SAP version upgrades and have performance SPAU and SPDD analysis. 5 years of experience in ABAP, developing custom programs or debugging existing codes. You also have experience with ABAP extensions for integration and data communication such as IDOCs, BAPIs, and ABAP proxies. Experience supporting audit and compliance activities, and ITSM principles. You also have the following soft skills and ability to: Engage at all levels and communicate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders. You can negotiate and influence others and can adjust your communication style to suit the intended audience. Apply critical thought and analysis techniques. And what matters most?
