The role requires strong expertise in intelligence analysis, contemporary training methodologies and the ability to apply operational priorities into tailored learning solutions. You will contribute to the ACIC’s capability by ensuring analysts have the skills, tools and professional development opportunities required to deliver high-quality intelligence outcomes. Role responsibilities As Senior Advisor Analytical Training, you will: provide high-level advice on analytical training and workforce capability development to senior leaders use your subject matter expertise in the design, delivery and evaluation of specialist training in intelligence analysis, including structured analytic techniques, critical thinking and reporting work in a small team of training professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement work with operational areas to identify training needs and ensure learning solutions align with agency priorities partner with other agencies and intelligence partners to share best practice and develop joint training initiatives be willing to undertake regular interstate travel to deliver specialist training courses Your skills and capabilities We invite applications from people with the following experience, skills and attributes: Demonstrated experience as an intelligence analyst, with strong knowledge of analytical tradecraft and methodologies Proven ability to design and deliver training or professional development programs in a complex or classified environment Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with operational leaders and partner agencies Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences Ability to apply sound judgement, strategic thinking and critical analysis capability Eligibility Citizenship – To be eligible for employment with the ACIC, applicants must be an Australian citizen.
