Benefits you will enjoy SCHADS Level 4 salary Salary packaging options Professional supervision and reflective practice Structured professional development opportunities A collaborative, values-driven team culture Townsville lifestyle – coastal living, Magnetic Island at your doorstep, and a genuine work-life balance Description About the Role You will: • Facilitate and co-facilitate evidence-based and internally developed programs for children and adults • Deliver structured group sessions using psychoeducation models • Conduct intake, psychosocial and risk assessments • Maintain high-quality case notes and client records (CSNET) • Collaborate closely with team members for planning, preparation and debriefing • Participate in service planning, monitoring and evaluation This role sits within our Education and Life Skills Program , which delivers group-based programs focused on strengthening family functioning, child development understanding, and interpersonal capacity Skills And Experiences About You You will bring: ✔ A degree in Social Work, Psychology or Behavioural Sciences ✔ Eligibility for membership with a relevant professional association ✔ Strong understanding of family dynamics and child development ✔ Experience conducting psychosocial and risk assessments ✔ Ability to work respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and CALD communities ✔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills ✔ Current Driver Licence and required clearances (Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening) Desirable: Certificate IV in Training & Assessment Our Culture Centacare NQ is a Child Safe Organisation and Equal Opportunity Employer.
