Niramaya Villas and Spa, located in Port Douglas QLD 4877, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Supervising and coordinating housekeeping staff to ensure villas, guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to established standards. Inspecting rooms and facilities to ensure cleanliness, presentation and maintenance requirements are met. Assisting in the planning and allocation of daily cleaning schedules and staff duties. Training and guiding housekeeping staff in cleaning techniques, use of equipment and safety procedures. Monitoring stock levels of cleaning supplies and linen, and arranging replenishment as required. Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards and infection control procedures. Reporting maintenance issues and coordinating with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution. Maintaining records of housekeeping activities and staff performance. About you: At least one year of relevant work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor. Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment and hygiene standards. Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively. Good organisational and time management skills. Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high presentation standards. Job Type: Permanent/Full-time Salary: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per annum.
