KNS Metal Solutions is a Perth-based metal fabrication company specialising in high-precision sheet metal manufacturing and complete fabrication services. They offer advanced laser cutting (flatbed & tube), turret punching, CNC forming, metal perforation and CAD/CAM design, handling projects from prototypes to large production runs with a focus on accuracy, quality and timely delivery for industrial, architectural and commercial clients. KNS Metal Solutions is now looking for an experienced Metal Fabricator to join their team. The right candidate will be responsible for : Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and CAD files. Prepare materials and develop templates for custom fabrication projects. Measure, mark, and set out sheet metal for cutting, folding, and assembly. Operate advanced machinery including CNC laser cutters (flatbed & tube), turret punch, press brakes, guillotines, and drilling equipment. Verify specifications and tolerances prior to fabrication. Fabricate, assemble, and weld precision metal components. Perform grinding, deburring, and surface finishing to high-quality standards. Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with client and industry requirements. Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations and company procedures. Complete production documentation and job tracking reports. About you: At least 1 year of experience as a Metal Fabricator; Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements, calculations, and material estimations. Proficiency in operating advanced fabrication equipment including CNC laser cutters turret punch, press brakes, guillotines, rollers, and drilling machinery. Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and CAD-generated plans. Physically fit with the capability to handle and lift metal sheets and fabricated components safely.
