About the Role As the Warehouse Senior Supervisor, you will be responsible for the seamless day-to-day operation of our warehouse facility. Beyond standard logistics, we are looking for a leader capable of managing complex production flows and labour allocation to meet demanding project delivery schedules. The key here is not only supplying parts to our clients externally but also ensuring that our state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Ballarat is well serviced. Your responsibilities will include: Operational Leadership: Overseeing and conducting the receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching of stock while maintaining 100% inventory accuracy through regular auditing and stocktakes. Process Improvement: Implementing continuous improvement principles and lean manufacturing methodologies to increase output and workshop efficiency. System Integrity: Managing stock movement functions within finance and administration departments, ensuring high levels of data integrity. Safety & Compliance: Enforcing strict WHS policies and conducting daily toolbox meetings to ensure a safe, compliant, and unified working environment. Team Management: Supervising warehouse and delivery staff, with a focus on performance management and dispute resolution to maintain a high-performing team. Key Skills and Experience We are looking for a "strong manager" who leads by example and understands the technical nuances of a modern manufacturing and distribution hub. Proven Leadership & Seasoned Problem Solver: Extensive experience in a leadership or supervisory role, ideally managing teams of 40 staff across fabrication, warehousing, and assembly. Project & Contract Management: Ability to manage end-to-end projects, including factory relocations, system implementations (MRP/ERP), and third-party service provider engagement. Technical Literacy: Proficiency in warehouse operations and stock systems (SAP S/4 HANA preferred); an understanding of robotic workflows is highly regarded. Licensing: A current forklift licence and driver’s licence are essential. Industry Knowledge: Experience in the automotive, trailer parts, or heavy machinery (hydraulic attachments/earthmoving) industries is highly regarded.
