About Us Crust Bakery is seeking a skilled and reliable Baker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, baking and finishing a variety of bread and bakery products while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency and food safety. Key Responsibilities: Preparing and baking bread, rolls, pastries and specialty bakery products according to established recipes and production schedules Measuring, mixing, kneading, shaping and proofing dough products Monitoring fermentation and baking processes to ensure product consistency and quality Operating ovens and bakery equipment safely and efficiently Finishing and presenting bakery products to required standards Maintaining food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety practices Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering ingredients and supplies Maintaining a clean and organised bakery workspace Requirements Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification, or relevant industry experience Previous experience in a commercial bakery environment preferred Ability to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment Good time-management and organisational skills Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS practices Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Benefits Stable full-time employment Supportive and team-oriented work environment Ongoing training and development opportunities Consistent roster and working hours Opportunity for career progression Salary: Competitive salary in line with market rates and applicable awards.
