ICT Controls Project Officer (EL1) – Lead Assurance & Control Frameworks Step into a pivotal role supporting a major ICT controls environment. You’ll design, embed and sustain a practical control framework across digital delivery—working across governance, cyber, risk and assurance to ensure controls are evidenced, audit-ready, and integrated throughout the project lifecycle. Location: Any Stat Contract Duration: March 2026 start, contracted until June 2026 Security Clearance Requirement: NV1 Closing Date: Friday 6 February 2026 – 10:00am (Canberra time) Essential Tasks: Build and maintain an ICT controls register/library (owners, mappings, test procedures, evidence) Embed controls across delivery phases (plan, design, build, test, deploy, BAU transition) Coordinate assurance activities including control testing, evidence capture, and remediation tracking Produce clear reporting (dashboards/briefs) and escalate issues early to stakeholders Key Criteria: Strong APS/regulated environment experience designing and maintaining ICT controls Proven audit and assurance capability (testing, evidence quality, findings to closure) Risk and governance fluency—linking controls to risks, treatments and delivery gates Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills (M365/SharePoint/Power BI desirable) How to Apply Does this role sound perfect for you?
