What you’ll do Prepare, bake, and finish a range of pastries, desserts, laminated doughs, cakes, tarts, custards, and chocolate work to Profiterole standards. Assist with menu development, new recipe testing, and seasonal dessert concepts. Maintain consistent product quality, portion control, and presentation that aligns with our brand. Monitor quality, freshness, and inventory; support order planning and pastry production schedules. Ensure a clean, organized, and safe workstation; adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Collaborate with chefs and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Train and mentor junior pastry staff and interns as needed. What we’re looking for Proven experience as a Pastry Cook, Pastry Chef, or similar role in a high-volume bakery or restaurant. Formal culinary/pastry training or degree. Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking science, chocolate tempering, sugar work, and dessert plating. Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for pastry presentation. Ability to work mornings/evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed; flexibility and reliability.
