The purpose of the Quality Assurance / Control is to be responsible in producing a product to the highest Quality and in compliance with company standards and following instructions of Volgren’s process and procedures with the objective of maximising customer satisfaction in terms of Volgren’s overall performance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Be responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is completed as per specification and quality standards. Perform quality inspections and test drive vehicles. Perform root cause analysis on top reoccurring faults found EOL and at Customer. Serve as Volgren’s representative attending vehicle hand over to customer. Hold regular Quality Meetings covering all aspects of build quality. Track all statistics on number of faults found and provide feedback to the factory floor. On delivery inspect the chassis and complete an inspection report Track, support and co-ordinate customer requests for design change. Assist SQ&E Coordinator in maintaining SOP system. All equipment requiring calibration is to be calibrated each month and test results to be recorded in register. Serve as initial point of enquiry for all customer communication. Support all activities to develop Volgren’s customer base. Assist Quality Team by completing, tracking and reworking items found at end of line or customer inspection. Control ITP packs from initial print, checking, completion and scanning to SharePoint. Raise NCPs for non-conforming products found on the shop floor. COMPETENCIES: Strong cross departmental communications skills. Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods and tools. Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Professional certification in Quality Assurance preferred Training in 8D, PDCA, 5Y, Fishbone and all relevant root cause analysis tools Quality inspection, process auditing and testing experience Experience with implementation of corrective action programs Product or industry-specific experience This position also requires the applicant to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol analysis, musculoskeletal evaluation and hearing test Applicants must have the right to work and live in Australia.
