We're seeking an experienced Construction Labourer / Site Support worker for a long-term refurbishment project based in Wollongong. We're looking for someone who understands how a construction site operates, works with attention to detail, and is comfortable supporting trades in a live refurbishment environment. Large-scale refurbishment works in an active operational environment Mix of internal, external and façade works Structured, builder-led site with clear systems and expectations Long-term project with ongoing work for the right person THE ROLE This position suits someone with hands-on site experience, such as: Carpentry Trades Assistant / Offsider Experienced site support worker from refurb or fit-out projects Construction worker trusted with prep, protection and presentation KEY DUTIES Assisting site and other trades Site prep, protection and set-out assistance Materials handling and organisation Using basic hand tools for general site tasks Maintaining strong site presentation and housekeeping standards Participating in toolboxes and following site procedures WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Proven construction site experience (refurb / fit-out preferred) Confidence using basic hand tools (drills, impact drivers, levels, etc.) If you also have your own tools that is highly regarded Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Able to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable, punctual and safety-focused REQUIREMENTS Construction White Card Available to start ASAP Valid Australian working rights Own reliable transport and Driver's Licence RATES & BENEFITS Good rates on offer, based on experience Long-term, stable work on a single project Well-run site with an experienced crew Ongoing care and support from your AWX recruitment team How to apply Click Apply Now' to submit your application.
