About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive payroll professional to join our supportive, close-knit team. Someone who is passionate about making payday happen and raising the bar for payroll delivery . This is a hands-on, full-time role based in our Brisbane office, ideal for someone with strong payroll expertise who enjoys contributing to continuous improvement. You’ll deliver end-to-end payroll services to our ANZ team of over 800 employees, working closely with our Stores, Finance, and HR teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely outcomes. Key Responsibilities Preparing and processing end-to-end fortnightly payroll for Pedal Group and our subsidiaries with a high degree of accuracy and ownership Acting as a subject matter expert for payroll queries, legislation, and system processes Overall upkeep and management of the payroll system and employee portal access Processing complex payroll transactions, including new hires, terminations, redundancies, back pays and salary adjustments Processing monthly bonus and commission payruns Preparing and processing weekly termination and ad hoc payments as required Managing the payroll inbox, providing clear, confident, and professional guidance and support Ensuring ongoing compliance with statutory obligations (e.g. superannuation, PAYG, child support) Collaborating effectively with Operations, HR, and Finance to provide trusted payroll advice and integrated service delivery Supporting payroll audits, reporting, and year-end activities Leading or contributing to payroll projects, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives as required Managing multiple priorities while working both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team
