Your New Company/Role: As a well established organisation, my client is looking for an experienced Accounts Officer (Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable) to join their team on a 3 months temporary full time basis and subject to permanency. The role is to be based in their Brookvale NSW 2100 office with onsite parking provided alongside 2 days work from home flexibility. Once up to speed, arrangement to work from their North Ryde NSW 2113 office some days is possible . About the Opportunity / Responsibilities: Reporting to a nurturing Financial Controller and Company Accountant; you are responsible for Manage and control accounts receivable and payable for the business and all associated companies Accurate and timely processing of invoices Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management Ensure exchange rates are up to date Sending monthly customer statements & reminder letters Processing staff expenses Maintaining petty cash Collection calls Bank reconciliation Data entry and maintenance of accounting and customer management systems Performing credit checks & advise on credit risk Handling suppliers/customer queries effectively Other ad hoc duties as and when required Ideal Profile This opportunity is for someone who has experience within a similar role. You will also bring: Tertiary qualification in Accounting & Finance/Business/Commerce or equivalent work experience 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role Prior experience in Business Central or other large ERP systems are highly desirable Intermediate Excel skill Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Able to work independently and in a team environment Benefits 3 months temporary position and subject to permanency $37.00 - $46.00 per hour Super (based on experience) Brookvale NSW 2100 / North Ryde NSW 2113 Onsite parking provided at Brookvale 2 days work from home Great culture and supporting manager If you have the required skills needed for this position, kindly please click the 'Apply' button below.
