Manager, Contract and Vendor Performance – Drive Strategic Transformation in Geelong Reporting to the General Manager, Transformation Engagement, you will be responsible for managing strategic procurement (technology and services), key contracts, and ongoing vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities Include: Vendor & Contract Management: Lead the end-to-end management of strategic contracts, ensuring compliance, performance, and alignment with transformation objectives. This involves negotiating and resolving contractual issues, promoting change control, and monitoring vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs. Strategic Procurement: Lead the multi-year planning, sourcing, and execution of ICT procurements for the transformation program and broader enterprise initiatives. Category Management: Lead the development and execution of IT category strategies, identifying opportunities for cost optimisation, risk mitigation, and innovation within IT spend. Capability Building: Design and implement frameworks and training programs to uplift the Enterprise Transformation’s capability in vendor and contract management. Governance & Reporting: Provide regular reporting to executive leadership on vendor performance, risks, and opportunities. Required Experience and Knowledge: Significant demonstrated experience in senior roles managing IT contracts and vendors within large-scale transformation programs. Significant demonstrated delivery experience working with System Integrators/Implementors to ensure successful program delivery. Proven experience in leading ICT and Specialist Services or related procurement functions. Strong understanding of category management principles and strategic sourcing. Previous experience leading and coaching high-performing teams, with an ability to build capability and lead change. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Commercial acumen and practical experience in performance-based vendor governance. Experience in the public sector or regulated environments is highly regarded. Familiarity with agile delivery models and digital transformation. Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, IT, or procurement, or significant equivalent experience.
