Camp accommodation and meals are provided whilst on site. As the part of the Environment team you will have a strong focus on ensuring day-to-day operations are compliant with all environmental reporting and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities will include: Guide and assist with delivery of environmental management programs such as post mining rehabilitation, groundwater management, pollution control, waste and greenhouse reduction. Maintain all environmental procedures, manuals, guidance documents, records, and updates relevant documentation in accordance with company policy and ISO14001 certification. Participate in risk assessments providing specialist input on managing environmental hazards and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and contribute to the completion of environmental monitoring and management of sustainability data via relevant computer systems. Assist in coordinating/completing environment inspections and follows up with departments to ensure recommendations are implemented. Conduct relevant environmental training sessions with all departments, to communicate HSE procedures. Manage and maintain the Cooljarloo site Environmental Budget Assist consultants/contractors in undertaking environmental monitoring and management activities ABOUT YOU Hold relevant Environmental university degree qualifications (essential) Bring 5 years of environmental management experience, including at least 3 years in mining. Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance within mining or mineral processing industries. Experienced in delivering environmental management programs, including groundwater management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives. Skilled in environmental monitoring, data analysis, and reporting, with proficiency in systems such as Sphera, MP5, and ArcGIS. Capable of maintaining ISO14001-certified environmental procedures and documentation. Effective communicator who can train, mentor, and influence across all levels of the organization. Proficient in Microsoft excel & Microsoft Power point ( Gant charts / pivot tables) Current WA Driver's licence with access to reliable transportation (essential) Previous experience staying in mine camp facilities advantageous.
