About The Role As a GMW/Forklift Operator at Wilmar Sugar and Renewables, you will be responsible for contributing to general housekeeping tasks by shovelling waste, hosing down areas and cleaning up. You will also need to complete essential daily tasks while adhering to all safety policies. This is a permanent day work position at Kalamia Mill in the Burdekin Region. Follow instructions given by supervisor and use all required PPE for the tasks Communicate effectively over two-way radio Able to work at heights and in confined spaces if required Perform daily pre-start checks on machinery A Forklift High Risk Work License is required and essential for this position. Confined Space and Working at Heights Tickets are desired but not essential, however we are prepared to provide training to the candidate who possesses the right aptitude and team fit.
