23rd February, 2026 We are currently seeking a fully qualified and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our client who are located in the South-East suburbs of Perth. This highly regarded organisation provide essential municipal and infrastructure services to Indigenous communities across the remote Kimberley region of WA. With headquarters in Broome and workshop facilities in both Perth and Broome, our client is recognised for their innovative approach, reliability, and high standards of workmanship. Their projects directly enhance the quality of life in remote communities through the delivery and maintenance of critical power, water, and wastewater infrastructure. The Opportunity: This Perth-based role will see you working on capital works projects focused on power generation infrastructure. You will be involved in: Construction of containerised Standalone Power System (SPS) control rooms Electrical installation works associated with new solar/diesel power station builds Testing, commissioning, and documentation for major infrastructure projects While the position is primarily workshop-based in Perth, there may be occasional travel to remote Kimberley communities to assist with commissioning activities. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects that support essential services in remote WA. Key Responsibilities: Deliver a broad range of electrical trade services across capital works projects Read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) Interpret wiring and schematic diagrams for control circuits Review General Arrangement (GA) drawings for equipment and cable layouts Translate technical drawings into practical installation outcomes Install electrical systems including: Switchboards Distribution boards Control panels Lightning and surge protection systems Earthing systems Install, terminate, and test cables and wiring Mark up/red-line drawings for as-constructed records Assist with inspection and test documentation, commissioning sheets, and compliance forms About You: We are seeking a motivated professional who demonstrates integrity, strong safety awareness, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively within a small, collaborative team.
