25th February, 2026 Engineering Trades Australia is looking for an experienced Dump Truck Operator for a FIFO ex Perth opportunity. Candidates with experience only from large-scale operations or iron ore sites may not be suitable. This small open pit mine requires operators to be confident working in areas with limited room to manoeuvre, having heightened situational awareness. What to expect: Smaller gold mining Operation based in the Goldfields near to Leonora Fantastic facilities - boasting an Inn, Kitchen, Deck, and Gym, alongside sports courts and recreational areas. 8:6 / 7:7 Tuesday flights from Perth Airport - Skippers Aviation $57.59 p/h Flat Rate Could be rostered on day or night shifts depending on labour requirements 2 swings to get you going, with no end date and possible permanent roles available to successful candidates Your experience: Experience operating Komatsu 785 and/or Komatsu 1500 haul trucks is preferred. Proven experience working in small open pit environments for more than 12 months. Demonstrated ability to safely operate in: Tight turning circles Narrow haul ramps Close proximity to other mobile equipment Compliance requirements Full Australian Working rights - Visa Sponsorship not feasible Valid Australian Driver's Licence (current and unrestricted) National Police Clearance within the last 2 months (or the ability to obtain) Drug and Alcohol screening ahead of mobilisation Medical declaration of fitness for work - full medical not required Any relevant tickets or licences Why work for Engineering Trades Australia?
