We’re on the lookout for a Fulltime Maintenance Technician who’s as committed to keeping things running smoothly as we are to creating iconic flavour (yes, including our famous strawberry jam). As part of our Maintenance team, you’ll be entrusted with ensuring the reliability, safety and efficiency of our plant, equipment and infrastructure at our family farm in Hahndorf. Here’s what it says on the jar: You’ll be a maintenance maestro , jumping on breakdowns across production machinery, plant, and equipment with speed and precision, because downtime isn’t our flavour. You’ll be our production superhero on speed dial , swooping in to tackle quality quirks and efficiency hiccups, cape optional, and occasionally saving the day after hours. You’ll keep our machinery running at its best, overseeing setup, start-up, shutdown and operating parameters, while delivering preventative and breakdown maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems. You’ll be our safety trailblazer , steering risk assessments, mastering lock out/tag out like a pro, upholding OHS standards, and making sure every machine plays by the rules. You’ll be our hands-on builder and fixer , leading repairs, upgrades and installs, tackling everything from welding and building maintenance to shutdown projects and shiny new plant commissioning. You’ll be our quality guardian , living and breathing QA and HACCP, thinking two steps ahead when machinery changes, and keeping our CMMS records spot-on and audit ready. You’ll be our continuous improvement champion , always on the lookout for smarter ways to work, keeping inventory in check, and rolling up your sleeves to keep production powering ahead. Enjoy full time, four days a week with a rotating Monday/Friday RDO, plus a mix of early, afternoon and late shifts to keep production rolling. You’ve got hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, bonus points if it’s with food production. You speak both mechanical and electrical fluently, and can sniff out faults like a pro. You know your way around CMMS and preventative maintenance systems, keeping machinery humming and surprises at bay. HACCP, GMP, and food safety aren’t just acronyms, you live them, working safely and with eagle-eyed attention to detail. You’re practical, solutions-focused, and unfazed when things get tricky on the production floor. You’re a self-starter who loves collaborating, can communicate like a pro, and helps the team get better every day.
