For you; Opportunity to move away from billable hours Monday to Friday - standard working hours only Hybrid working Sydney CBD location close to public transport Learn from an industry leader Supportive and collaborative culture Excellent salary an array of benefits more You will; Arrange appropriate investigations and collection of evidence required to make soundly-based liability decisions and to assess psychological and physical claims for workers compensation entitlements Draft letters of instruction and prepare evidence briefs for independent medical examiners and factual investigators Support Senior Legal Counsel, Technical Manager and external legal providers to respond to internal requests for review and applications to resolve a dispute Your background will include; Legal qualifications ideally with a practicing certificate Demonstrated experience practicing in personal injury law (ideally on the defendant side) Knowledge of, and ability to interpret and strategically apply, NSW workers compensation legislation and applicable case law A strong understanding of the workers compensation dispute resolution process and Commission proceedings Sounds interesting?
