Monadelphous is seeking an experienced SMP Project Engineer to provide engineering and project management support to our Newcastle Operations team. This is a hands-on, site-based role offering the opportunity to live and work locally in the Newcastle region. Perform project control functions – scheduling, cost control including managing performance. against budget and developing variations where required. Lead and coordinate site support functions (Quality, Technical, Planning, Commercial). Manage project data, reporting, and commercial documentation. Support tender submissions and execution phases. Participate in client and contractor meetings, offering practical solutions. What you will bring Experience working in an on-site engineering position, servicing the resources sector. Exposure to piping, electrical and construction work. Understand and deliver core elements of managing a major project. Australian recognised tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Structural Engineering. Strong, clear written and technical skills. Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project). Strong understanding of project management principles. A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
