With ongoing growth and increasing complexity across the finance function, a newly created Assistant Accountant position has been introduced to add capacity and support succession planning within the team. Position Description You will be working alongside a great and experienced finance team. Responsibilities will include: Entering of invoices daily Fixed asset management and reconciliations Balance sheet, credit card and receipting reconciliations Preparation of monthly tax submissions (BAS, Payroll Tax) Assisting with inventory analysis, consolidation and valuation Providing backup support across AP and AR when required Assisting with process improvement and systems initiatives About You To be considered for this position, you will meet most of the following requirements: Accounting degree qualification 1–2 years’ experience in accounting (business services background preferred) Strong communication skills and confidence in presenting yourself professionally Eagerness to learn, with a methodical and considered approach to tasks Ability to work 5 days per week onsite If you are keen to find out more about this Assistant Accountant role, please contact Marc Dalusag at Richard Lloyd on , quoting reference 9807 or click on 'apply now' below.
