Location: Canberra (Onsite Only – No WFH) Contract Duration: Not specified (Estimated start March/April 2026 - Depending on the onboarding timeline/process ) Security Clearance Requirement: TSPV or TS-Positive Vetting (TS-PV) Closing Date: Not specified Essential Tasks: Design, build and unit-test new features across C#, FastAPI, React, and/or Python Troubleshoot defects, refactor legacy code, and improve performance/security Create and maintain documentation (technical docs, API specs, user guides) Contribute to GitLab/BitBucket workflows and CI/CD pipelines (branching, builds, deployments) Key Criteria: 5 years full-stack development experience in a government environment, deploying to high-security networks Strong understanding of SDLC, testing practices, and code review/peer mentoring Solid secure-coding knowledge (threat modelling, vulnerability mitigation) Proven capability aligned to SFIA Level 3–5 (PROG) Contract Duration: 12 months with 2 x 12-month extension options.
